A New Beginning…
Posted on | November 9, 2009 | No Comments
As you can easily see, things have changed a bit here at my blog.
I’ve got a lot of things planned that should keep me busy for quite some time! All these changes will be for the greater good.
Anyways, let’s get down to business and go over what is new and what is going to be happening around here!
Status
This blog has been needing to be redone/redesigned for quite some time now, but I didn’t want to do it or launch it without a plan or some content already behind the scenes. This time I’ve taken extra effort to make sure I’ve got a plan, sorta, well.. at least “something” that is written down to go by.
To keep up to date, make sure you scroll down to the end of this article and look at my small author bio! In it you’ll find links to all my different accounts: Skype, EduFire, Twitter, Facebook, and Email.

Yeah, you read right, I’ve started learning Japanese! Not that I have gotten very far yet or that I will know anything even worth praise any time soon, but it is official and I’m so glad. In the past, I’ve tried learning a bit of Japanese here and there, but never got serious enough to sit down and decide, “This is it, I’m going to learn Japanese even if it kills me…”, but just recently I’ve made that commitment. There is no turning back now, I can only push forward!
I’ve fixed Japanese into my schedule and will work as hard as I can to not let a day go by that isn’t at least somewhat Japanese filled. Help me keep that going! When commenting or talking with me, try some Japanese out on me(though not too complicated, I’ll break.
)!
はじめまして!
わたしはZyagaです。
Or for those of you who can’t read/see Japanese characters…
Hajime mashite!
Watashi wa Zyaga desu.Yeah, I know my Japanese is basic and horrible.. but it won’t be like that forever(I hope)!
Watashi wa Nihongo wo sukoshi dake hanashimasu. T_T
I’m using a variety of tools, or rather I’m testing out a variety of tools, and will be posting reviews of them. Since I’m currently a beginner, a lot of the reviews will be coming from someone who is starting fresh, so in a way they may not hold the experience factor but definitely the beginner factor. What I mean, is I will be able to more accurately describe what programs got me up and going the easiest from scratch, as well as let you know kind of what order certain software/books/games(yes, games!) should be in.
EduFire
I am taking Japanese classes on EduFire currently, so if you’re interested in learning Japanese or taking some classes, be sure to hop in a class with me some time and say hello(or rather, こんにちは,
)!
My Goals
I normally hate doing this(in fact, I hate doing it right now), but I really need to do this, so I’m just going to.
I have a few goals I’m trying to accomplish by Jan 1st, to start the new year off with a proper bang!
- Get another project I’m working on off the ground and on it’s feet.(It’s a secret
) - Know Hiragana and Katakana fluently, by being able to read the characters relatively fast.
- Be able to play some of the easier Japanese NDS learning games created for young Japanese kids to enhance their Japanese.
I know it sounds insane and it probably is, but I believe I’m honestly capable of doing it if I actually put my mind to it. I’m more worried I’m going to let myself falter than whether or not it is even “possible”. I’m going to give it a shot either way!
