さよなら is probably more commonly used as opposed to さようなら. Although I’m sure the average beginner would know the difference between the two. And I’m sure most of us just want to know what is use commonly^^”

Thanks for pointing that out! I’ll be sure to add to the article that a more “preferable”/common way would be to use 夜(yoru).

Hmm… Doesn’t smart.fm allow you to do picture flashcards? Maybe that’s a great idea I haven’t yet explored… Wanna collaborate on a set of such flashcards?

Looking good, but I’d recommend ending with 「さようなら」（ａｋａ左様なら）rather than 「さよなら」. It’s more of a standard form for beginners.
